MSJ Design Ltd is practice of Architects and Civil/Structural Engineers with 30 years of experience.
We are chartered architect/Civil/Structure practice focusing on small/medium size projects. We have extensive experience which gives us a clear and strategic thinking from the inception focusing on integrating design, build form and minimizing an environmental impact.
As architects and engineers we recognise the impact our designs, material use, innovation have on the Environment and our responsibility to mitigate these.
We believe that simple solutions, such as the building’s sitting, layouts, materials, adaptability of uses can have the greatest impact on energy conservation, and often with the least capital cost.

Serge Janjic (Director, Civil/Structural Engineer)

After graduating from Engineering University in Sarajevo , Serge joined Robert Rish & Partners UK. Over the next six years, he worked on a number of prestigious projects before deciding to establish his own practice in 1994. Serge is Chartered Structural Engineer and has gained an immense depth of knowledge in all aspects of civil/structural engineering and building design. Serge is highly proactive , providing clients with consistent assurance and benefiting them through his dedication and personal support on each individual project. Serge is also experienced Party Wall surveyor with deep practical understanding of Party Wall etc.Act 1996 providing party wall advice for last 15 years.
Miljana Salinovic (Architect)

Miljana is a qualified architect who joined MSJ in 1998, than established structural engineering studio with the vision that architects/engineers working together can create design solutions that are greater than the sum of their parts. Exchanging knowledge and information at the early stages of a project, ultimately comes closer to a “just right fit” for program, aesthetic within context and beget.
Before joining the studio, she built a broad range of professional experience across different scales mainly private residential projects. She is particularly drawn at both the micro and macro scale, to design contextual, imaginative and practical houses. She has great experience with complicated, heavily constrained sites and loves working on the historic buildings.
